Milk Drink (Japanese: ミルクのみ Milk Drink) is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation II. Prior to Generation VI and in Generation VIII, it was the signature move of Miltank. In Generation IX, it is the signature move of Skiddo and Gogoat.
Effect
In battle
Generations II to IV
Milk Drink restores up to 50% of the user's maximum HP, rounded down.
Generations V to VII
Milk Drink now restores 50% of the user's maximum HP, rounded up.
If powered up by a Normalium Z into Z-Milk Drink, all of the user's lowered stats are reset.
Generation VIII
In Versions 1.0 to 1.1.1 of Pokémon Sword and Shield, Milk Drink could not be selected in a battle. Starting with Version 1.2.0, it is usable and functions as it did in previous generations.
Generation IX
Milk Drink's PP was reduced to 5.
Outside of battle
Prior to Generation VII, and in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Milk Drink can be used outside of battle to transfer some of the user's HP to another party Pokémon. Each use will transfer 20% of the user's HP, up to the target's maximum HP. The move will not work if the user has 20% or less HP left.
There is a glitch involving this move in Generation IV; if the player presses "A" on a Pokémon to be healed and a direction on the D-pad on the same frame, the new Pokémon would be healed instead, possibly leading to a Pokémon having more HP than its maximum HP, or healing fainted Pokémon or Eggs. If the "Cancel" button is selected, the game will crash.

Trivia
- In Pokémon Gold and Silver: Official Nintendo Player's Guide, this move is erroneously referred to as Milk Berry.[1][2] This is fixed in Pokémon Crystal: Official Nintendo Player's Guide.[3] The mistake was likely a result of the Japanese names of Berries ending with 「のみ」 as well, albeit with a different meaning.
